How to make it look like Tibia

Light comes from the top-left. Make the top and left edges lighter and the bottom and right darker. The Shade tool and Adjust → Auto-shade do this for you.
Everything sits on a 32 × 32 px grid (one sqm). Big things stand on their bottom-right sqm and grow up and to the left, the way the game draws them.
Outline with a dark shade of the object’s own colour, not pure black. Adjust → Outline picks that shade for you.
Use few colours: 3 to 5 shades per material. The shade ramp next to your colour gives you a matching set.
Keep edges crisp. See-through pixels are for glows, smoke and magic. Dithering (the checker brush) makes soft gradients the old-school way.
Outfits: paint the recolourable parts in greys and mark them with colour zones (head, primary, secondary, detail), like the game does.
Press Style check in the Adjust panel for hints about your sprite.
